Hi, I’m Glodive - the founder of Rooted & Resilient.Â
I help people create lasting and sustainable resilience in their bodies through mobility, strength and movement.
A few years ago, I could barely kneel down to tie my shoes. I lived with chronic knee pain for over five years. Pain that dictated my every step, every thought and my ability to imagine a future where I could move freely and pain-free again. Limitations and pain that left me feeling hopeless, while effecting my mental health. At my lowest point, I stopped trusting my body completely. I avoided even the “simplest“ daily movements, convinced that I was broken.Â
It took me years to realise that waiting for pain to simply disappear wasn’t the answer. In my case, avoiding movement only made everything worse. So I started again, from zero. Slowly, gently and step by step, I started to move again. I began learning mobility and strength training not just to rebuild my body, but to understand it and build my knowledge in these areas.Â
That journey changed me. It showed me how capable our bodies are. It taught me our bodies resilient ability to restart, relearn, rebuild and grow stronger in ways we may not believe possible.
Pain isn’t just physical. Living with chronic pain doesn’t only limit your ability to move. It shakes your trust in your body, weighs on your mind, limits the way you see your future, affects your mental mental health and your quality of life.
It was never just about pain.
It was about understanding pain as a signal, not as the problem. It was my body’s way of begging for care in a way that is sustainable and lasting. It was always about rebuilding my relationship with movement grounded in the right path, the right tools and the right believe.
Movement became my medicine. Mobility training allowed me to experience the freedom to trust my body again and to live without being defined by pain.
This is why I created Rooted & Resilient.
It’s built from the deepest parts of my journey. With the rooted desire to support you in building or deepening a healthy relationship with movement that is sustainable, lasting and joyful.
In a way that will allow you to create a body resilient enough to truly rely on at any stage of life.
I wouldn’t be able to offer you this work, this kind of movement, knowledge, guidance, awareness and understanding intentionally brought together in Rooted & Resilient, if I hadn’t walked through that intense and difficult chapter myself.
But I made it through. And from the bottom of my heart, I believe you can too.
